About Us

On West 57th Street, directly across from Nordstrom, a door opens into something Broadway itself cannot offer. Masquerade NYC is an immersive theatrical experience built around the world of Phantom of the Opera, and the difference between watching a show and living inside one becomes immediately, viscerally clear the moment you walk through.

Visitors don't sit in rows and observe from a distance. They move through theatrical sets, encounter performers up close, and become part of the story itself. The intimacy is the point. With a 4.8-star rating across hundreds of reviews, guests consistently reach for the same word: nothing else compares. The talent is exceptional, the staging is cinematic, and the interaction between cast and audience is the kind of thing you keep describing to people who weren't there.

This is 57th Street's best-kept secret, though it won't stay secret for long. Whether you're a lifelong Phantom devotee or simply someone who wants live performance to actually move them, Masquerade delivers a night that redefines what theater can be.

What We Offer

Masquerade offers a fully immersive live performance experience set within the gothic, romantic world of Phantom of the Opera. Guests walk through elaborately designed theatrical environments, encounter cast members in close-quarters scenes, and experience the story from inside it rather than in front of it.

The venue at 218 W 57th St is purpose-built for this format, with sets and staging designed to blur the line between audience and performer. Group bookings and private events are available for those who want to bring a corporate team, celebrate a special occasion, or simply share the experience with people who deserve something extraordinary.

Tickets are available through masqueradenyc.com, and advance booking is strongly recommended given the show's reputation and limited capacity per performance.

Why Choose Us

Rated 4.8 out of 5 stars across 361 reviews, making it one of Midtown's most praised live experiences.
Immersive format places you inside the performance, not seated 40 rows back from it.
Located at 218 W 57th St, steps from Carnegie Hall and easily accessible from all of Midtown.
Purpose-built theatrical sets create a cinematic atmosphere no traditional stage can replicate.
Cast interaction is genuine and personal, not scripted distance, creating moments unique to each performance.
Perfect for Phantom fans, theater lovers, and anyone seeking a night that actually surprises them.

"The most unique experience you will ever have on Broadway. There's absolutely nothing like this... The sheer intimacy of performance, level of interaction and engagement. Epic talent, performances right in front of you. The revival of Phantom is nothing short of incredible! I have seen this twice and it's worth every penny. The level of detail with the rooms and sets, as you move through each space is to live and breathe every moment of the Opera, experience the emotions of a young Phantom at the eery circus. The producers have created something so special in turning the entire building onto a working set. So dress up, grab that champagne and enter the world of Masquerade. There's no other way to step into the world of The Phantom of the Opera!"

"Masquerade NYC 218 W 57th st, NY NY 10019 Great live performance interactive show!!! Housed directly across the street from Nordstrom on 57th, Masquerade absolutely wowed me. The theatrical sets, the lighting, the cast, wow! The singing, the dedication to the craft! All top tier! The music had me thinking about running home and downloading the entire set list. This is a professional performance. I've been to countless broadway & Vegas shows and this production is right up there with the best of them. The cast and producers should be proud! After the show, we hung out in a beautiful & large room adorned with candles and special areas for photos. There's also a bar for after show drinks. I'd like to go back and do it again - this summer. Ladies, do as my wife did! Wear comfortable flats. No one can see your footwear, your well being, safety and comfort are more important - remember- you are standing and moving & shuffling around a lot within a live set for two plus hours. If you've never seen it, it's definitely worth it. If you've seen it once, i'm sure you're planning another visit sometime soon- I know I am!"

"Wow wow wow! If you are a Phantom of the Opera lover you absolutely must come and see Masquerade! Movies and the Broadway show are one thing, but this experience is immersive, you walk along with the cast as they share the story, you are interacting with them as if you’re a part of the show, and you truly feel the emotions. I loved all aspects of this show and enjoyed the full props! I highly recommend this show to anyone who is looking for a unique experience from the traditional sit down Broadway shows!"

"Picture this: you take the greatest musical of all time and combine it with the most immersive and impressive walk-through haunted house you’ve ever been in. Top that off with fancy dress and free drinks and you have Masquerade. Yes, the tickets start at almost $200, but you get what you pay for and then some. Where else can you stand directly next to the Phantom as he makes eye contact with you while singing “Music of the Night”? Easily the best show in town. If you only have time for one show while visiting NYC skip broadway and come up to 57th street. And if you’re a Phan? What are you waiting for!?"

"Better than Broadway. I loved this show so much, I am so impressed how they manage to have all the pulses running around in the building and they dont run into one another. The night before we watched the Phantom of the Opera movie, 2004 version. It helped me because I had never seen or heard the true story of the Phantom of the Opera. I surprised my wife with this as part of our Ninth Anniversary date night out. We went to a 2 pm pulse and then went out to dinner nearby afterwards. We got a note, wife was interacted with several times. Had some drinks and bought some souvenirs after the show. There is a dress code, white, silver or black. We went all out with a tuxedo and fancy dress, it was worth it. Honestly, I have been to 3 broadway shows since I moved to NYC, and this was better than all of them. It was almost like having a front row view of a broadway production. If I am explaining it simply and quickly to someone I would say: It is lived Phantom of the Opera Broadway and a Detailed Immersive Haunted House had a baby, that baby could be Masquerade."
